The Prairie Rattlesnake has very distinctive scales and patterning. The scales can hold and absorb water and snow for survival. The accessory design shown here has been inspired by that and created through a process called etching. We drew out the scales and patterning on the metal and like a photograph covered the areas we wanted to keep and exposing the etched areas. Hand cut and finished, the scale focal earring is 40x30mm; hangs 3-in top to bottom, the chain is 14k gold or copper, and the earring hook is 14k gold filled or copper. Available in NuGold or Copper.
