The Prairie Rattlesnake has very distinctive scales and patterning. The scales can hold and absorb water and snow for survival. The accessory design shown here was inspired by that and created through a process called etching. We drew out the scales and patterning on the metal and like a photograph covered the areas we wanted to keep and exposing the etched areas.
